This song was on the first LP I ever bought (a sampler in 1983). It was the first dance song with a rap part I knew and I LOVE that part. I just freaked out when I heard Mariah does the RAP part! With the mad raps by Busta and Fabolous is this my favourite REMAKE EVER! This is why I LOVE Mariah so much. It's amazing Mariah made a classic out of a classic!	Dieser Song war auf der ersten LP die ich kaufte (ein Sampler in 1983). Es war der erste Song mit einem Rap Teil den ich kannte und ich Liebe diesen Teil. Meine Herz springt jedes mal wenn Mariah genau diesen Part rappt! Gewürzt mit den verrückten Raps von Busta und Fabulous ist dies das BESTE REMAKE das Mariah je gemacht hat.

A sexy low tempo dance duet with Eric Bent who also has a role in the movie Glitter.	Ein heisses langsames Dance Duett mit Eric Bent der auch eine Rolle in Film Glitter spielt.

This great ballad will on the second single from the album. A classic Mariah ballad. Very calmly and quiet beginning with a heartbreaking powerful end which shows Mariah has still that uncompareable voice range..	Diese großartige Ballade wird mit auf der zweiten Single sein. Die klassische Mariah. Ein ruhiger Anfang und ein herzzereissendes Stimmgewaltiges Ende welches Mariah's unvergleichbare Stimme zur vollen Geltung bringt.

All in all I have to say this:
I LOVE THE ALBUM! If I write here how much I LOVE the album you would call me crazy. This is happiest, best danceable, funkiest Mariah album. As much as the songs sound not like the classic Mariah. On this album it sounds like Mariah has never sang anything else. It's fresh and has the passion I love so much on Mariah's albums.
I truly can`t believe why there are still people out who wants the "old" Mariah. Every artist develops. I'm sure in the mid 60's some Beatles fans said "we want a song like Love Me Do and not this new Sgt. Pepper". If you want the "old" Mariah just listen to the earlier albums by Mariah. I'd like LOVERBOY a thousand times more then last years single AAO.
Oh please don`t complain about the Beatles thing. Just look at other developpers like Madonna, Michael Jackson, Prince, Depeche Mode, Lionel Richie and many more.

In my opinion Mariah build a great bridge from Soundtrack, 80's feeling and current R&B music.
If the media give it a chance it will surely be a very hit over the last months.

Alles in allem möchte ich dies noch sagen:
Ich LIEBE GLITTER! Ja, einige der Songs klingen nicht nach der "klassischen" Mariah. Dieses Album hört sich aber so an als ob Mariah nie etwas anderes gesungen hätte. Frisch und mit der Leidenschaft die ich an Mariah so liebe.
Ich kann beim besten Willen nicht verstehen wenn jemand die "alte" Mariah zurück will. Habt Ihr nicht die Entwicklung über Fantasy mit ODB (1995), Honey mit Puffy, Mase & the Lox (1997), Breakdown mit Bone Thugs-n-harmony (1998), My All/Stay Awhile mit Lord Tariq & Peter Gunz (1998), Heartbreaker mit Jay-Z (1999), Thank God I Found mit Nas (2000) gehört? Jeder Künstler entwickelt sich. Ich bin sicher Mitte der 60er Jahre gab es Beatles Fans die noch Songs wie Love Me Do haben wollten anstatt Sgt. Pepper. Wenn ihr die "alte" Mariah hören wollt könnt ihr die frühen Werke von Mariah ja immer noch anhören. Ich mag Loverboy tausend mal mehr als die letztjährige Single AAO.
Oh bitte jetzt bitte nicht aufregen über den Beatles Vergleich. Man könnte den Vergleich auch mit Madonna, Michael Jackson, Prince, Depeche Mode, Lionel Richie usw. machen.

In meiner Meinung baute Mariah eine gelungene Brücke von Soundtrack, 80er Jahre Gefühl und aktueller R&B Musik.
Falls die Medien dem Album eine Chance geben wird es sicherlich ein Megahit für die nächsten paar Monate.
